Whether you call them challenging experiences, difficult journeys or bad trips, as much as we wish they didn't happen, sometimes they do. They often get a bit overlooked as it's much more fun to talk about healing, ecstasy and universal love than hell realms, existential angst, and heightened anxiety. If you are a person who had a difficult psychedelic journey and are still trying to make sense of it, please know that you are not alone.

Outside of working with an Integration Coach or therapist, here are a few resources to assist in the process of integrating a challenging trip.

The Fireside Project is a Psychedelic Support Line open every day from 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Call or text 62-FIRESIDE. https://firesideproject.org/

ICEERS offers up to 5 free integration sessions for challenging experiences https://www.iceers.org/support-center-2/

The Challenging Psychedelic Experiences Project is a group conducting studies on challenging experiences and doing some great psycho-education on podcasts and other media. https://challengingpsychedelicexperiences.com/

Again, if you experienced a difficult journey please know you are not alone. Connect with others. Take good care of yourself. You are loved.
